Greta is located in the most unique position on our Wimberley property. You’ll park on one side of a ravine, and walk across a “lock bridge” to get to the entrance of Greta Ger. Many of our guests buy a lock at Ace Hardware in town and paint their names and a date on it to commemorate their stay. Greta also has a sunrise view facing the Wimberley hills from the upper deck.
Welcome to Greta Ger, one of our six authentic Mongolian yurts in Wimberley. A perfect sanctuary for a peaceful getaway alone or to reconnect and enjoy time in nature. Greta Ger invites you to indulge in a self-care experience like no other, encouraging you to enjoy a digital detox that frees your mind and lifts your spirit. Greta Ger has a beautiful dark blue door and hand-painted interior. You’ll find the same luxurious amenities of all our yurts including king size bed, outdoor kitchen with propane grill, firepit, hot tub, rooftop deck, outdoor shower and plenty of privacy.
Designed as a remote hideaway in the woods, each of our six Wimberley Yurts have sweeping hill country views from a rooftop deck. Each yurt is situated for privacy with more than 300 feet of woods in between each yurt territory. The Wimberley Yurts are located just a few miles from downtown Wimberley which features multiple restaurants, bars, shops, art galleries and Blue Hole Regional Park.
