Set within a quiet corner of our 46-acre retreat, Amie Ger at The Yurtopian Dripping Springs is designed for guests seeking calm, connection, and the beauty of nature. This peaceful yurt combines the seclusion of the Hill Country with thoughtful touches and plenty of extras and upgrades, making it the best glamping in Texas for couples, families or solo travelers.
Step through Amie’s signature purple door into an authentic Mongolian yurt, hand-painted with intricate details that make every moment feel special. Inside, a plush king-size bed, cozy seating nook, and full climate control create a space that feels both luxurious and grounded.
Outdoors, your private retreat continues with a bubbling hot tub, a glowing fire pit, a shaded outdoor kitchenette, and an open-air stone shower. From your private rooftop deck, enjoy panoramic sunrise and sunset views framed by oak and cedar trees, and let the stillness of the hills remind you how to slow down and enjoy your Texas hill country getaway – alone or with someone you love.
For an indulgent touch or a perfect romantic surprise, you can upgrade your stay with a single or couples massage, romantic decor, or a treat basket —the ideal complement to your Hill Country glamping experience. Choose your add-ons during or after you book your stay.
Whether you’re traveling alone, with your partner or with a couple of kids or on a girls’ getaway trip, every stay at The Yurtopian includes the same thoughtfully designed amenities that make our yurts in Texas one-of-a-kind.
The Dripping Springs location features some walking paths and a wet-weather creek. The property also features a cozy central lodge and a grassy picnic area, both ideal for small groups or multiple couples who want to spend time together before retreating to their own private yurt. This location is also dog friendly in all yurts and has three yurts (Amie, Annie & Dottie) that allow children five and up or 2 extra adults (on cots).
We are located about a 30-minute drive from downtown Dripping Springs, grocery stores, and restaurants, but only 15 minutes from Pedernales Falls State Park and just around the corner from Hawk’s Shadow Winery.

~ Our reviews speak for themselves ~
“We wanted a peaceful getaway for Christmas! This Yurtopian Resort was exactly what we needed. Sitting on the balcony looking out at the hill country view was so beautiful and serene. Having drinks next to the fire pit and then relaxing in the hot tub made for the perfect night. The bed was extremely comfortable. I didn’t know what to expect with this property but it exceeded anything I could have imagined. We will definitely be back for another reset.”
All yurts have the exact same amenities; however, the gallery may include photos from other yurts to show close-ups and different angles.
