Tucked along the bluff at the far end of the Dripping Springs property, Chrissie Ger feels like your own private treehouse in the Hill Country. Set apart from the other yurts, she offers extra seclusion and views of the southeast through the trees. Guests love Chrissie’s quiet, tucked-away and hidden location, where mornings are filled with birdsong and evenings feel calm and unhurried.
Inside, Chrissie features a king-size bed beneath a hand-painted Mongolian dome, with air conditioning, heat, and artisan touches that make the space both inviting and comfortable. Outside, you’ll enjoy your own private hot tub, a hammock for lazy afternoons, and a firepit perfect for winding down under the Texas night sky. Chrissie is an ideal choice for travelers seeking pet friendly glamping in Dripping Springs with both comfort and seclusion.
For an indulgent touch or a perfect romantic surprise, you can upgrade your stay with a single or couples massage, romantic decor, or a treat basket —the ideal complement to your Hill Country glamping experience. Choose your add-ons during or after you book your stay.
Whether you’re traveling alone, with your partner or with a couple of kids or on a girls’ getaway trip, every stay at The Yurtopian includes the same thoughtfully designed amenities that make our yurts in Texas one-of-a-kind.
The Dripping Springs location features some walking paths and a wet-weather creek. The property also features a cozy central lodge and a grassy picnic area, both ideal for small groups or multiple couples who want to spend time together before retreating to their own private yurt. This location is also dog friendly in all yurts and has three yurts (Amie, Annie & Dottie) that allow children five and up or 2 extra adults (on cots).
We are located about a 30-minute drive from downtown Dripping Springs, grocery stores, and restaurants, but only 15 minutes from Pedernales Falls State Park and just around the corner from Hawk’s Shadow Winery.
