Wake up early at Kathie and enjoy one of the nicest sunrise views on the property. Tucked away off to the side, she’s far enough away from the other yurts to offer great privacy, but not too far for a nice hike down to the wet-weather creek/waterfront. If you prefer to drive your car down the hill, that’s fine too! We have plenty of parking down by the creek.
Discover Kathie Ger, one of our secluded and romantic yurts, just a few miles outside the Texas Hill Country town of Dripping Springs. With 46 acres of land, a wet-weather creek, and plenty of trees and hills, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped into another world.
At Kathie Ger, you’ll find an authentic Mongolian Yurt with a hand-painted door and decor in beautiful shades of dark blue and green. Kathie Ger has a king-size bed, indoor seating and desk area, and an outdoor deck with all the amenities for an amazing getaway – hot tub, fire pit, covered kitchenette, outdoor shower, and all the peace and serenity you crave.

The Dripping Springs resort is only 15 miles from Pedernales Falls State Park for excellent hiking, kayaking, and enjoying the Pedernales River. Downtown Dripping Springs is 20 minutes away with restaurants, bars, and shopping.
