Surrounded by trees on both the upper and lower decks, Susie Ger feels like your own private treehouse in the Hill Country. Her shaded spaces are perfect for napping in the hammock, birdwatching from the treetops, or simply enjoying the cool comfort of being tucked away. Though she doesn’t have the wide-open views of some of the other yurts, Guests love her intimate, cocoon-like feel that makes this glamping getaway both peaceful and personal.
Inside, Susie’s dark blue, hand-painted doors, you’ll find a cozy king-size bed beneath an ornate Mongolian dome, with air conditioning, heat, and artisan details that bring more than a touch of warmth to your stay. Outdoors, soak in your private hot tub, unwind in the hammock, or gather around the firepit. Susie is a natural choice for guests seeking luxury glamping in Texas.
From your rooftop deck, you’ll still enjoy morning light filtering through the treetops and the soft transition into evening. For couples who prefer the charm of being tucked into the woods, Susie offers tranquil, secluded, pet-friendly glamping.
For an indulgent touch or a perfect romantic surprise, you can upgrade your stay with a single or couples massage, romantic decor, or a treat basket —the ideal complement to your Hill Country glamping experience. Choose your add-ons during or after you book your stay.
Whether you’re traveling alone, with your partner or with a couple of kids or on a girls’ getaway trip, every stay at The Yurtopian includes the same thoughtfully designed amenities that make our yurts in Texas one-of-a-kind.
The Dripping Springs location features some walking paths and a wet-weather creek. The property also features a cozy central lodge and a grassy picnic area, both ideal for small groups or multiple couples who want to spend time together before retreating to their own private yurt. This location is also dog friendly in all yurts and has three yurts (Amie, Annie & Dottie) that allow children five and up or 2 extra adults (on cots).
We are located about a 30-minute drive from downtown Dripping Springs, grocery stores, and restaurants, but only 15 minutes from Pedernales Falls State Park and just around the corner from Hawk’s Shadow Winery.
